A thrilling feature in which we really all basically give up on OKAY WEEK entirely.
NAOMI PUNK, PC WORSHIP, and CHUBBY RHAPSODY – I didn’t even bother doing any research about stuff going on in town this week because you should spend your entire week gearing up for this show. Naomi Punk is the most important band making rock music right now because they’re hardly even making rock music. These guys make great records, such as last year’s “Television Man,” but their power is incomprehensible outside of the live setting. They’ve just gotten back from a massive European tour, and are likely at the top of their game right now. Go go go go go go. If only because I have to be working. – SATURDAY @ The Black Lodge (Republican St. and Eastlake Ave.), 9:00 PM, all ages – $7
